Deity Complex was a short lived punk band put together by a bunch of weirdos. I was the keyboard player and background singer of this group having a blast during quarentine. Though we didn't end up staying a band for long, I learned a lot. I've also always loved hanging out with a bunch of talented queers.
Erby Playing Flute
2013
This is a video my dad posted back when I had been learning how to play the flute. I learned by admiring my dad who used to build flutes and whistles out of various materials while I was Growing up. I grew up attending Irish music sessions early on as well, feeding my fascination to the instrument.
Erby Burnfield
2005
This is lil baby me almost 3 years old. If you look closely you might be able to see my diabolical schemes for starting chaos. I consider myself born with the rhythm in my bones. My parents met as musicians so, in a way, I would not be here today without it. As you can see, piano/Keyboard was my first instrument.
